Berevement Notice - Angela Hale

It is with saddest news that we have to report the passing of Angela Hale. Angie was an active member at Stella Maris from 2001 until 2008. Angie and her husband Martin lived on-site and were well known and liked by the seafarers who regularly visited the Centre. Her voluntary support often went beyond her regular commitment insuring that seafarers received the best welfare and hospitality. Angie & Martin relocated to Sydney in mid 2008. She will be sadly missed by all. Please remember both Angela & Martin in your prayers.

Ladies Luncheon Fundraiser

The Ladies' Luncheon Function was a great success. Over 118 women turned up to be spoilt by sweets, champagne, food and shopping stalls to browse and purchase from. A good variety of raffles and door prizes were also on offer. We raised over $3600 from the function and the Ladies' Function Committee have said that the money will go to purchasing new tub chairs for the lounge area. Many thanks for all of those who assisted with this function.
